Being far from home and further on the way, we realised that we wanted better communication support, not at least for Anders to keep his consulting business going. We got the new satellite receiver, Iridium Certus, with significantly faster data communication and much improved voicemail quality, delivered to the Marina in Lagos. John, who recently has moved to Lagos and is running his own enterprise, Electrical Marine Service, came to help us with the installation.

The installation required two full days. It was quite tricky and not so convenient to find the right way for the cables. But we made it! We got good advice from John&John and Fernando. So far, the initial testing has met all our expectations, both in terms of speed of data communication and quality of voice call.
