We found a good mooring ball in the bay of Bas de Terre. Now it was time to celebrate Anders birthday with a traditional Marzipan cake and a champagne lunch on board Ydalir together with Karin and Holger from Rivercafe. Then a quick nap and in the evening we had a delicious dinner at Ti Kazla. It is hard to find a better place for a birthday.
The next days we snorkelled around the boat, the most beautiful Reeves where so close. We also rented some e-bikes and cycled up the hills of the island and found the most beautiful beach where we hung our hammock and soon found a deep sleep. Then a refreshing swim to the nearest reef, swimming along with blue and yellow fishes. Extraordinary!
The fishing market on Les Saintes is quite basic and quickly sold out at 8AM.
