On Thursday we did our Covid-19 test, which was well organised from the ARC organisation. The test itself is somewhat stressful and we are glad its over. Luckily the crew on Ydalir was negative. Seldom so happy to be negative! Unfortunately one boat had a positive test and will stay in quarantine in Las Palmas.
We have got our YB-tracker, so now you can all follow us on the race that starts on Sunday, November 8th. Just download the free YB race app and search for Atlantic rally for cruisers 2020 and then ARC+ and of course Ydalir II.

On Friday it was quite windy, the sea is really calling us out now. On Saturday the wind was rather calm and all of us where busy instead, doing the final preparations and cooking for the coming days. The night ended with a giant farewell firework. It was mesmerising and we could all feel the energy setting free and we are more excited than ever to start tomorrow at 13 local time. With swordfish for dinner and chocolate mousse as dessert it was a memorable last night in Las Palmas.
